Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern access to and use of Keybordia, including the iOS app, software keyboard, Messages extension, visual reactions and writing assistance features. They apply to the version available at the time of consultation, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
By installing or using Keybordia, the user acknowledges having had the opportunity to read these terms and agrees to comply with them to the extent permitted by applicable law. If the user does not agree with a provision, they must stop using the service and may remove the app from their device.
These terms supplement the Privacy Policy and software license published on this site. In the event of a conflict, applicable mandatory provisions prevail; specific terms relating to a feature apply to that feature where they are more detailed.
The Keybordia service
Keybordia offers typing and formatting tools, keyboard layouts, visual themes, reactions and optional writing assistance. Available features may vary depending on the app version, iOS configuration, language and capabilities of the third-party app being used.
Artificial intelligence features are optional and run only after the user's explicit consent in the app and then at their request. The selected text and, depending on the feature, conversation context, intent, tone and length settings are sent to Supabase, then to OpenAI to generate suggestions. Accessible field context may be included in a request from the keyboard. Without consent, no AI request is sent; users can withdraw consent in the app settings and continue using other features.
Keybordia may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, an outage, an iOS change, a provider-imposed limit or an external event. The publisher may modify, suspend or remove a feature for reasons relating to security, compliance, operation or development of the service.
Access, device and quotas
Users are responsible for device compatibility, keeping iOS up to date, installing the keyboard and protecting their device. Enabling Full Access in iOS settings may be required for the keyboard's network features; this is done under the user's control.
The currently advertised free quotas are twenty requests per device over a twenty-four-hour period, with a shared limit of sixty requests per IP address over the same period. A request provides up to three suggestions; these limits are service measures and do not guarantee availability.
Quotas, limits, features and billing terms may change. Any material change will be indicated in the app or on this site before it takes effect, subject to urgent changes needed for security, compliance or service continuity.
Rules of use
Users agree not to misuse the service, circumvent quotas, compromise its security, disrupt its operation or use Keybordia to commit an offense. They must not attempt to access the systems, accounts, data or services of the publisher or its providers without authorization.
Users remain responsible for the content they type, paste, generate, copy or share. They must have the necessary rights and permissions for the texts and information they submit, and refrain from sending confidential information or third-party personal data without an appropriate legal basis and authorization.
Using Keybordia to harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate, distribute unlawful content or infringe the rights of others is prohibited. The publisher may restrict access to the relevant features where use presents a serious risk, while respecting users' mandatory rights.
Generated suggestions and user content
Suggestions are generated automatically from the instructions and context provided. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, unsuitable or similar to existing content; they do not replace human judgment, professional advice or fact-checking.
Users must review each suggestion, check that it suits their context and ensure it can be used lawfully before copying or sharing it. Generation does not constitute sending, publishing or approval of the content by Keybordia.
Users retain the rights they hold in their own texts. They authorize only the temporary technical processing or processing necessary to perform the requested feature; this authorization does not grant the publisher ownership of the text or a general right to reuse it for advertising.
Intellectual property
Keybordia, its code, interface, visual identity, graphics, original texts, themes and reactions remain protected by applicable intellectual property rights. Unless otherwise stated, they belong to the publisher or are used under license.
No provision transfers these rights to users. Users receive only a limited right to use the elements included in the app as part of normal service use; they may not extract, resell, redistribute or separately exploit protected elements without written authorization, except where a mandatory legal exception applies.
Third-party trademarks, operating systems and services mentioned remain the property of their respective owners. Their mention serves only to describe Keybordia's compatibility or operation and does not imply affiliation, endorsement or partnership unless expressly stated.
Availability and liability
The publisher makes reasonable efforts to maintain the service and protect its operation, without guaranteeing continuous, error-free access or compatibility with every third-party app. Dependencies on iOS, networks and providers may affect availability or results.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher is not liable for indirect loss arising from a decision based on a generated suggestion, unavailability beyond its control or incompatibility with a third-party app. This clause does not exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these terms limits statutory warranties, consumer rights or liability for fault where such limitation is prohibited. Users remain responsible for checking generated texts and keeping any information they wish to preserve.
Changes, suspension and contact
The publisher may update these terms to reflect changes to Keybordia, its providers or the law. The version and update date appear at the top of the page; significant changes are communicated by appropriate means where required by law.
In the event of a serious breach or threat to the service, the publisher may proportionately suspend the relevant feature and, where possible, inform users of the reasons and how to remedy the situation. Users may stop using the app at any time.
For questions about these terms or to report an infringement, users can use the form in the Support section. The publisher's legal identity, legal contact details and applicable jurisdiction rules must be completed before public release.
